Podcast 1: 80’s Comedy

This is our first official podcast, where we discuss 80’s comedy with a focus on Stripes and Top Secret.  Featuring our guest, Dylan and regular co-hosts Benn Hadland and James Goux.  Press the play arrow to begin playing it straight off the site,  This is our first shot at this, so please excuse the production value (which I promise will improve) and the general looseness and professionalism or lack thereof (which may or may not improve).  We hope you enjoy it, and I’ll be trying to get it onto various aggregaters such as iTunes soon, or you can download straight from the following link:

Primer

Film Duel will for now be our primary mode of reviewing films in written form. Both James and Benn will write reviews independently, and then do a short comment on each other’s review.  This week Benn and James take on the super-indie film Primer, which received a lot of festival buzz and proved to be a bit of a puzzle even for our stalwart cinephiles.

Launch Day!

Today is the day!  Welcome to Lock, Stock, and Two Film Geeks, the new project from James Goux and Benn Hadland offering film discusiion of all types of film.  In a moment, the first review and the first podcast will be posted above.  The plan for the moment is to post reviews weekly, and podcasts biweekly, we’ve built ourself a bit of a cushion so hopefully we will be able to maintain that.  For now, we hope you enjoy our first bits of content, and you can expect a lot from us in the future.  Feel free to browse around as well.
