American Cinematheque raises its glass to Malcolm McDowell

British thespian Malcolm McDowell was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday morning, then hosted a double feature of “A Clockwork Orange” and “Time After Time” at the Egyptian Theater later that evening.

This marked the first of a 3 day series celebrating McDowell’s career by American Cinematheque, a non-profit organization that presents a variety of films – many of which are little known or forgotten – to the public.  The rest of the series will be held at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, with “If…” and “Evilenko” playing on Saturday, and “O Lucky Man!” on Sunday.  McDowell will be at the Aero Sunday to present the film personally.
