Podcast Stuff

As you may have noticed, I’ve just reposted the last two episodes of the podcast. This is because they didn’t show up in iTunes, so many people may have missed them. Please go to iTunes in a day or so and download them if you haven’t heard them, it might not download both automatically since I’m posting both at once.

And on another note, the podcast is meant to have a new episode today, but it’s a bit long this time and I didn’t plan ahead enough. Expect to see it in the next few days.

James’ Queue

As you can see to the right, I noticed the other day that I can share my blockbuster queue with you all, so I’ve placed it in the “about” section alongside my profile. While not everything on my queue will come up on the site, if you do want to follow along with the podcast or reviews in any way, this is the best way to do it. Or it just lets you know what I’m watching if you’re feeling stalker-ish.

Hello everyone. We’d love to have more discussion with our readers and listeners. I noticed today that previously, you had to be registered with our site to make a comment, so I changed that in the hopes that more people would readily feel like they could give feedback. Now it’s simple, just click the “leave a comment” link at the bottom of any article and you can let us know what you think. Also keep in mind we as a podcast have an email that you can contact us at, it’s podcast@lockstockandtwofilmgeeks.com. We’re open to suggestions for topics, movies we should watch, and general criticism. Just try not to be too mean about it.

Also we’ve had great response on our facebook page, people seem to be taking to checking out our articles based on us promoting things there, and they’re giving us lots of good comments there too. We appreciate this just as much as comments on our site, so if you prefer this method, be sure to add us on facebook.

This Week’s Film Duel

This week’s Film Duel will be appearing on Thursday night instead of the traditional wednesday (let’s hear a collective awwwww [I know nobody's waiting for it]). We’re doing this so that we can present to you for the first time in our brief history a review of a film before its release day. We’ll save the surprise for Thursday but both of us are quite excited for it.

Today is the day! Welcome to Lock, Stock, and Two Film Geeks, the new project from James Goux and Benn Hadland offering film discusiion of all types of film. In a moment, the first review and the first podcast will be posted above. The plan for the moment is to post reviews weekly, and podcasts biweekly, we’ve built ourself a bit of a cushion so hopefully we will be able to maintain that. For now, we hope you enjoy our first bits of content, and you can expect a lot from us in the future. Feel free to browse around as well.
